In today’s world of hair dryers, styling tools, and pollution, a majority of us suffer from dry and damaged hair. The Wella Enrich Moisturizing Treatment for Dry and Damaged Hair is yet another product that I tried to salvage my severely damaged and too-frequently-heat-styled hair. Read on to find out if this product worked for me or not.
This hair mask comes in an orange plastic packaging that contains 150ml of product. The product inside is a semi-thick white cream with a pleasant scent. You are supposed to apply this mask on your wet shampooed hair and rinse it off after 5 minutes. What I like about this product is that a little product is all you need to cover your hair and that the product needs to be left on only for 5 minutes (yes, I am impatient like that).
This product helps in detangling any stubborn knots in the hair, and leaves the hair smoother, softer and frizz-free. It also hydrates the hair really well, but you have to be careful not to apply it to the roots because it may make them slightly greasy. The formula does contain silicones, so please check the ingredients if you are particular about your haircare formulas.
Priced at INR 600, this hair treatment is fairly priced and works well at providing some much-needed nourishment to dry and damaged hair. While I might not purchase another tub, I will definitely be finishing up this one and with pleasure!
The struggle to keep my hair tame yet voluminous is genuinely real, and the product I am going to talk about today is helping me achieve this goal these days. The Schwarzkopf Spa Essence Hydrating Cream Masque is supposedly what they use in salons when you go for a hair spa, but it was available on Amazon, so I picked it up to use it as a regular hair mask. As per the instructions, you are supposed to apply this along with a serum on shampooed hair and then steam the hair, but I use it like a standard hair mask i.e. I leave it on for around 15 minutes after using a shampoo and then rinse it off.
The ingredient list of this product seems to be full of chemicals, but this hair mask does work really well, and I am definitely a fan. It claims to nourish and hydrate the hair while preserving its natural bounce and that is exactly what it does. Post using this product, the ends of my hair look SO much healthier and all the unruly frizz that they tend to possess completely vanishes! Also, the effect of this hair mask lasts for days, which makes it perfect for those with frizzy hair who want to have a low maintenance haircare routine. Also, it has a mild and pleasant fragrance that should not irritate most people.
This product is priced at INR 580 for a giant 500 ml tub, which is extremely affordable in my opinion. The hair mask will suit most people, except for those with very greasy or weighed down hair. It does have a bunch of chemicals but if nothing else is working for your frizzy hair then this product is worth trying out. Also, if you can recreate the whole spa routine at home then you will probably see even better results. I personally love it because it actually adds volume to my hair while hydrating them and that is extremely rare for hair masks. Two big thumbs up from me, especially during the cold winter that we are experiencing at the moment!
Essential oils hold a very special place in my heart because they are a one-stop solution to a multitude of skin and hair concerns. One brand that has really impressed me with their wide selection of essential oils, including sandalwood oil, avocado oil, and citronella oil to name a few, is Ryaal. Today I will be talking about the Ryaal Essentials Argan Oil which was kindly sent to me by the brand to review, in the form of a tiny royal blue glass bottle full of golden goodness.
The Ryaal Essentials Argan Oil is 100% pure and natural and is also cold pressed, which helps to retain the goodness of the Argan nuts in the best manner possible. This stunning blue bottle comes with a handy dropper that prevents wastage of the product, and you can add a precise amount of the oil to your homemade hair masks and face packs. I have already tried adding a few drops of this oil to my favorite hair mask and my hair felt so much softer than usual that I couldn’t stop running my fingers through my tresses. I also tried using this oil as a serum for the dry patches on my face, and as expected, the richness of the oil eliminated the dryness entirely.
This oil has a very faint, nutty smell, which means that the brand has not tried to enhance the natural scent by adding perfumes to the mix. Such a wonderful product does not need any additives to make it shine, it is perfect as it is and I am glad that Ryaal focusses on retaining the natural goodness of the oil. Texturewise, it is not too thick, and, in fact, does not feel heavy on the skin at all. A few drops of the oil can be used as a daily serum to keep the skin hydrated and baby soft. If you have oily hair, then you can mix it in with your conditioner and if you have dry ends then you can apply a small amount to your hair after drying to make them glossy and smooth. The options are endless with this marvelously versatile product!
The Ryaal Essentials Argan Oil is available on Amazon in bottles of different sizes ranging from 15ml to 1000ml. The 15ml bottle is priced at INR 199, which is pretty reasonable for pure Argan oil. I am really grateful to Ryaal for sending me a sample of this fantastic product and I will definitely be purchasing more oils from their amazing range soon!
A few years ago, I moved to a new city where the water supply primarily comprised of hard water. This did not work well at all for my hair and I had to deal with the most brittle hair that I had ever experienced. The chemicals in the water made my hair so weak that each time I brushed my fingers through it, a bunch of strands would end up in my hand. Trust me, it wasn’t a pretty sight at all. I consulted a hair stylist about my grave situation and he suggested that I try the Loreal Professionnel Expert Serie Force Vector Mask. This amazing product single-handedly rescued my hair within a month and the hair fall reduced drastically and became almost negligible!
Thanks to this blog, I can spread the word about this excellent hair mask that strengthens each fiber of the hair, thereby reducing the breakage caused due to brittleness. This mask has a creamy, thick consistency and spreads easily on the hair. It also has a sweet, almost cinnamony scent that I love. I use this product 1-2 times a week on the lower ends of my hair, after conditioning them. I leave it on for around 10 minutes and when I rinse my hair they feel nourished and soft. This hair mask contains avocado oil and royal jelly that provide nutrition to rough, chemically treated hair. It also uses a Glycocell technology to strengthen the hair fibers. As unbelievable as it may sound, the hair does feel stronger after just a couple of uses! Furthermore, this mask also makes the hair more resilient to heat styling, which is good if you blow dry or straighten your hair on a regular basis.
I would highly recommend this product to those with brittle hair caused by chemical treatments, heat styling, or hormonal issues. It is the only product I have ever used that has helped with hair fall due to breakage. Priced at INR 675 for a 196 gm tub, this product is quite affordable considering its efficacy and benefits. If you have been noticing an alarming number of hair strands on your pillow and your hair brush then this hair mask might be the perfect fit for you!
All the ladies suffering from dry and dull hair, this post is just for you! Today I will share with you, my wonderful experience with the Loreal Paris Mythic Oil Nourishing Hair Mask. This product belongs to the Professionnel Mythic Oil range of the brand and is enriched with the goodness of Argan Oil and other nourishing natural oils. This mask revives dry, damaged and lifeless hair and adds softness and shine.
I suffer from extremely dry ends that tend to tangle up and resemble a bird’s nest, but this product sorts out all these problems really well. I skip conditioner once a week and use this mask on my wet, shampooed hair instead. I leave the product on for around 10 -15 minutes and the result is luscious, smooth and detangled locks. I have also noticed a significant decline in split ends since I have switched to this product.
The mask has a thick, creamy texture and a rich, nutty smell. Be warned that a little goes a long way with this product and it does infuse the follicles with nourishing oil, therefore I would recommend avoiding the roots and applying the mask from the mid-length to the tips. The product is available in a brand new packaging (different from the one in the photos) at INR 950 for a 200ml jar. I think that it is a great alternative to a costly hair spa at the salon!
