Ryaal Dr. Salt Epsom Salt Muscle Soak | Review

The hectic lifestyle of the 21st century is extremely demanding, both mentally and physically, and when we do get a rare break from the daily routine, we want to pamper ourselves but in a way that does not require much effort or elaborate preparation. The recent release from Ryaal, their Dr. Salt Epsom Salt Muscle Soak, is one such product that can provide calming relaxation within a few minutes. I have been using this multi-purpose product in various ways over the past few weeks and here are my thoughts on this bath salt that is a necessity for every man and woman who juggles tons of tasks throughout the day.
Ryaal Dr. Salt Epsom Salt Muscle Soak | Review
Epsom salt or Magnesium Sulphate has been known for a long time for its therapeutic benefits, such as soothing muscle pain, curing skin conditions, healing cuts, treating colds etc. Both Magnesium and Sulphur are easily absorbed by the skin, which is why epsom salt baths are extremely popular throughout the world. Ryaal combines these amazing properties of epsom salt with the calming and anti-bacterial benefits of peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil in its Dr. Salt Epsom Salt Muscle Soak.

This multi-purpose product can be used as a foot soak, a bath salt, and a scrub. Just mix it in some warm water to create a lovely foot soak for a relaxing pedicure, add it to your bath water to allow your whole body to absorb its benefits, or create a scrub by mixing it with some oil to get rid of the dead skin in a jiffy. Whether I soak my feet or my entire body in the salt solution, it actually leaves my muscles feeling relaxed and removes the tiredness of the day. My skin also looked visibly brighter and healthier right after the first use, which is why I really enjoy this salt as a brightening treatment for my feet and the tanned parts of my arms. Also, as soon I open the pack, the calming aroma of eucalyptus and peppermint greets me, which helps to alleviate stress and relaxes my mind.

This salt is also extremely effective as a scrub and is perfect for those who enjoy a rough scrub with a higher degree of exfoliation. You simply need to mix in a handful of the salt with some coconut oil or any other body oil of your choice and then use this mixture as a scrub on your wet skin. The scrub removes even the sturdy dead skin with ease and provides a cooling and tingling sensation on the skin.

Ryaal Dr. Salt Epsom Salt Muscle Soak | Review
Overall, if you wish to enjoy a spa-like treatment at home without having to hunt for a number of ingredients, then the Ryaal Dr. Salt Epsom Salt Muscle Soak will have your back. The product also comes in two other variants – a sleep formula and a foot soak – and each of the three variants is priced at INR 999 for 5 Kgs of product but is currently available at INR 555 on Amazon. Trust me, this is an excellent investment because this massive bag will last you forever. The bag is a ziplock one so you can store it as it is or can transfer the contents to a container, however, do not miss out on this amazing deal because your body will love all the pampering it will receive.

FabIndia Rose Geranium Face And Body Gel Scrub | Review

If you like the scent of roses then you must purchase the Fab India Rose Geranium Face and Body Gel Scrub. This gel scrub literally smells divine and reminds me of Gulkand, which is a sweet preserve of rose petals used in some Indian desserts. I haven’t purchased a lot of skin care from Fab India but this is one product that definitely deserves a mention on the blog.

Fab India Rose Geranium Face and Body Gel Scrub

The scrub has the consistency of a soft gel with walnut granules embedded in it. These particles are gritty enough to remove dead skin from the face and body yet mild enough to be suitable for sensitive skin. A lot of “mild” scrubs in the market have disappointed me by their non-existent exfoliating action but this scrub is everything I expect from a gentle scrub. It also contains rose essence and some nourishing oils that leave the skin soft and supple after every use.

Fab India Rose Geranium Face and Body Gel Scrub

100ml of this product is priced at INR 390 on the Fabindia website. A little expensive, but you only need a tiny bit of the product each time and the luxurious feel this scrub provides makes it worth the price. The only thing that could make this scrub even better would be a tube instead of a jar for the packaging. Other than that, if you are on the hunt for a gentle but effective scrub then this one will definitely get the job done.

I hope that this review was useful. You can buy the FabIndia Rose Geranium Face and Body Gel Scrub here.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Rough Body Scrub | Review

A body scrub that is quite gritty yet moisturizing is hard to come by. I found this gem when I was perusing the aisles of my local Body Shop store, on the hunt for a scrub that would eliminate my ingrown hair. The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Rough Body Scrub is a dream come true for me. Unlike the gentle scrubs that have soft beads, this one has a strong exfoliating action owing to the rough particles embedded in the golden gel.

Despite being a gritty scrub, this product leaves your skin supple and hydrated, thanks to the goodness of Argan oil. In fact, you can even get away without moisturizing after using this scrub. The product provides rescue from dry, scaly skin and the post waxing disasters that we call ingrown hair.

My only complaint about this product is the price, which is INR 1095 for a 200ml tub. However, this jar did last me for ages and I will definitely repurchase.

Anatomicals The Buff Stuff Citrus Body Scrub | Review

Who doesn’t enjoy fun bath time products? They add an element of color to an otherwise mundane activity. If you are a firm believer in eye-catching packaging then Anatomicals is the right brand for you. This UK based company combines great skincare and bath products with quirky packaging that has a unique appeal. Today I will review The Buff Stuff Citrus Body Scrub from their range.

Usually, I am too lazy to use a body scrub because it adds yet another step to my shower routine, however, the fresh citrus scent of this scrub beckons me each day. The scrub comes in a bright pink and yellow tube with humorous quotes that will leave you giggling while the product works its magic on your skin. Furthermore, the actual color of the product is also a lovely grapefruit pink with tiny white scrub particles. The particles are gritty enough to help you get rid of dead skin and ingrown hair and daily usage will remove a tan uniformly to reveal soft and smooth skin.

I think that this body scrub is very effective, yet gentle enough for all skin types. As an added bonus, the formula is paraben free as well! What more could you ask for from a scrub that does not burn too big a hole in your pocket? You can pick up a 200ml tube for INR 650, which in my opinion is great value for money. So go ahead and give this amazing product a shot!
