Body butters can be tricky in the warmer months, while your skin needs to be moisturized, you do not want something heavy to clog your pores or feel greasy in the humid weather. I personally prefer body butters that are nourishing but not too thick, which get absorbed by the skin quickly yet leave it hydrated for a long time. A recent discovery that fits this description is the Biobloom Water Lily Body Butter which I received in a subscription box. Read on to find out my thoughts about the product.
While I love my aluminium-free, natural deodorants during the colder months, they just don’t work well enough for me in the hot summer months. I literally turn into a sweat ball by the end of the day, and so I need to resort to something stronger, at the cost of giving up on clean ingredients. I have used the Dove Go Fresh anti-perspirants in all their fragrance variants since I was a schoolgirl, and while they worked really well for me, I had become tired of their scents. Now that they introduced a new scent – the Pomegranate and Lemon Verbena variant – I was drawn by the brand again. Read on to find out my thoughts about the Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena Antiperspirant Spray.
The under eye area is one of the most delicate parts of the skin, and it also starts showing the signs of aging the soonest. Add to it the fact that my eyes are extremely sensitive, and finding a suitable eye cream to tackle all my issues becomes an ordeal. The only reason that I tried the Biobloom Under Eye Gel was that it came in a subscription box, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this product actually lives up to its claims! I have been a huge fan of MamaEarth products ever since the inception of the brand. Their eye cream is one of the best in the market in that price range and their C3 Face Mask is one of the few that reduce my blemishes within days. This is why when I saw that they had launched a day cream and a night cream, I was super excited to try them out. Here is my verdict on both these products after using them for several weeks.
Blue Heaven is probably one Indian brand that every Indian mom has used at some point or the other. However, this brand has moved with the times and now has an impressive range of makeup and skincare! I have already reviewed the Blue Heaven Artisto Matte Lip Crayon on the blog, and might I add that I absolutely adore that product. Today I will be talking about the Blue Heaven Aloe Vera & Tea Tree Face Wash, something that I have incorporated into my summer skincare routine over the past few weeks. Summer has arrived earlier than usual this year and my skin has been craving some cooling hydration. Random bumps have also appeared on my face due to the changing weather and the products that worked for me in winter are not helping as much as they did in the colder weather. I have basically switched up my entire skincare regimen to cater to the warm weather and one product that I have been reaching out for a lot is the Mcaffeine Neem Caffeine Glow Gel with Aloe Vera. Unless you have been living under a rock, you would know that Miniso now has multiple stores in India! I have already reviewed the Nykaa Salon Gel Nail Lacquers on this blog, but I had only purchased dark and bright shades from the range till now. This time, I went for a nude peach shade called San Fran Mood (209) and since the formula of lighter shades can be different from those of the brighter shades, I decided to review it for all of you. Read on to check out my thoughts about this nail paint!
We are all very conscious about what we put on your face but we should be equally conscious about what we use in our homes. Our skin comes in contact with a number of cleaning products throughout the day, and if we do not pay heed, these could contain a number of harsh chemicals. Also, with so many pests and insects appearing around the house and the rise in the number of diseases they carry around, it is great to have herbal solutions to keep them at bay instead of chemical fumes that we end up inhaling too. Herbal Strategi is a brand that addresses these very concerns with their wide range of household products ranging from insect sprays to dish washing soap and everything in between. I recently got an opportunity to try out a number of their products and here is what I think about them.
I recently raved about The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Shampoo on the blog, and I loved it so much that I could not wait to finish my previous conditioner to buy the Fuji Green Tea one that goes with the shampoo. If the shampoo on its own had elevated my hair game then the shampoo and conditioner combo took it to the next level altogether! Read on to find my thoughts about The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Refreshingly Hydrating Conditioner when used in conjunction with its brother shampoo!
Ever since Laneige launched in India on Nykaa.com, my feed has been bombarded with tempting images of their products. What intrigued me the most was their lip sleeping mask, something a lot of international bloggers swear by, but the price tag of INR 1150 was a little too much for me to spend on a lip balm (or an upgraded version of it). BUT But But, then I saw a smaller version of the product at INR 500 and I was willing to spend that much to try out the product and curb my curiosity. Read on to find out how this product fared for me!
