St. Ives Apricot Scrub and Sheet Masks | Review

St. Ives is a brand that is known worldwide for its skincare products, but I happened to try it out for the first time recently, when I received a PR package from them. I was sent the St. Ives Apricot Scrub and some of their sheet masks, and here is my review of all these products after testing them out.

The St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Srub is a paraben-free scrub that contains walnut shell particles embedded in a cream base that smells like fresh apricot. The scrub particles are quite fine and not too gritty to touch, but I personally prefer this product as a body scrub instead of a face scrub, thanks to my sensitive skin. I massage this scrub with a very gentle hand on my arms, feet and legs, to get rid of all the dead skin in a jiffy. This product can help you get rid of a tan too.

I quite like the fresh and fruity fragrance of this scrub and love how glowy it leaves my skin. I use this 2-3 times a week while taking a bath to keep the dead skin and dullness away. Also, the packaging is quite eye-catching and stands out on my bathroom shelf. A 170gm tube is priced at INR 399, which is a very decent price for the quantity. If you are looking for an inexpensive scrub then try using this one as I have mentioned above. Click here to buy the St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

Coming to the sheet masks, I received three variants – the St. Ives Glowing Sheet Mask with Apricot, Soothing Sheet Mask with Oatmeal and Revitalizing Sheet Mask with Acai, Blue Berry, and Chia Seed Oil. All of these sheet masks are very hydrating and smell of their star ingredients respectively. The masks are made of 100% cotton and come drenched completely in the serum. I personally love the Soothing Oatmeal Sheet Mask the most because it truly calms the skin down and soothes any angry breakouts. The Blueberry and Apricot variants work well as per their claims too but the Oatmeal variant is different from most sheet masks I have used in the past.

As with the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, these masks too have an eye-catching packaging and it is hard to miss the branding. They do contain fragrance, so those who are sensitive to fragrance may have to be a little wary. Each of the St. Ives Sheet Masks is priced at INR 150 each, but you can grab them at a discount during one of the many sales on Nykaa. Click here to buy!
