Another day, another foundation review. I am going on a foundation no-buy after reviewing this one, I promise (at least until there is a fascinating new foundation launch)! Coming to the agenda of the day, today I will be reviewing the NYX Total Control Drop Foundation, a serum foundation that many in the beauty community swear by. I recently purchased it during the Nykaa Hot Pink Sale when it was available at a decent discount and have been testing it out ever since. So without further ado, here are my thoughts on this foundation.
If you are a returning reader of my blog, you may know that I am head over heels in love with the WiseShe makeup brushes and own all the brushes released by the brand. This Indie brand by blogger Anamika Sureka has also launched falsies, sponge blenders, and an eyelash curler recently, and while I was tempted to try out their sponge blenders, I hesitated because I am more of a makeup brush kinda person. All the products from the brand were recently on sale on Amazon, and I finally picked up their Tear Cut Precise Blender. Here are my thoughts on this product.
The ZoBox is the only subscription service that I have stuck to since it first started out, because I love the curation of products and honestly feel that they provide great value for money. This month’s ZoBox is a women special edition and provides 5 products that every woman would love, at a super affordable price of INR 499. Read on to find out what I received in this month’s box.
Despite so many brands talking about shade inclusivity when it comes to foundations and concealers, it is still hard to find a contouring product in India that shows up on medium to deep Indian skin tones. Some of the bronzers which I have used in the past, which are actually deep enough for Indian skin tones include those from Sugar Cosmetics and Makeup Revolution, but I was excited to try something new this time. The Amazon summer sale came in at the right moment, and the Wet n Wild Magaglo contouring palette that was available at a heavily discounted price caught my eye instantly. Here is my review of this product in the shade Dulce de Leche.
Sugar Cosmetics recently launched their Drop The Base Serum Foundation, which as far as I know, is the first serum foundation by an Indian brand. I couldn’t help but pick up the beautiful frosted bottle filled with the golden silky liquid (yes, their ads sucked me in). Also, the idea of a thin, light-weight foundation sounded perfect for summer. Here are my thoughts on this product after using it for more than a week.
Despite so many international brands coming to India, it is still hard to find some of the cult skincare products in our country. I have been trying to get my hands on the celebrated Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream since years, but it is not available anywhere without a whopping shipping charge. I finally settled for the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer instead, thinking that it will have somewhat similar ingredients (aka Retinol). I have been using this cream for over a month now and here are my thoughts on the product so far.
I recently received the Colourpop Supernova Shadow in the shade Moonlit as a giveaway prize from KittyP0p, and couldn’t have been happier at the inclusion of this product in the giveaway because getting Colourpop products shipped to India is a pain even though I love the brand so much! Even though the shade Moonlit doesn’t seem to available on the Colourpop website at the moment, I thought that I will review the formula of the shadow in case you wish to pick any other shade from the range. Read on to find out my thoughts on the product.
I have evaded colour correctors for the longest time, simply because I did not want to add yet another step to my makeup routine. However, once you see that your concealer is looking greyish underneath your eyes, you can’t unsee it. I realized that it might be time to add at least one orange corrector to my stash, so I picked up the LA Girl Pro Conceal HD in the shade Orange because I knew that one tube of this concealer will last me forever. Read on to find out how my experience has been with this orange corrector that the world loves.
Your girl is on a foundation testing spree at the moment, and even while writing the review of this foundation, I am eyeing a couple of newer foundation launches as well! Anyway, coming back to the topic at hand, today I will be talking about my thoughts on the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation. This product is a popular drugstore foundation which is affordable and is loved by many. I picked it up recently at a great discounted price, and here is my review of the product after using it for a couple of weeks.
I swear by the Organic Harvest Lip Balms but had never tried any of their skincare products despite hearing rave reviews from beauty bloggers. I finally decided to rectify this and picked up the Organic Harvest 3-in-1 Face Wash from Nykaa.com. This is a 3-in-1 Face Wash because it claims to cleanse, exfoliate and brighten in one go. Read on to find out how this product fared for me.
