Stay Quirky Products | Review and Swatches

Guest Blog by Pooja.

A big hello to all!!
If you are a beauty product lover like me you will relate with the pain of overspending on makeup. Because no matter how many lipsticks or eyeliners you own, they will never be enough, plus you gotta try different things all the time right?? Now try it all without burning a hole in your pocket! Today I present to you a pocket-friendly brand which has amazing quality to offer and has a variety of products to choose from – Stay Quirky! I picked up 2 lipsticks – one is in the traditional bullet form and the other is a liquid lipstick. I also picked up a kajal, which is an evergreen favorite product when it
comes to beauty.

The bullet lipstick range is called Stay Quirky BADASS Lipsticks! Such a fun name
and such vibrant colours it has. It offers 22 shade options. I picked up a Pink shade from the range which was priced at INR 325 for 4.2 grams. It has a simple yet elegant black packaging with BADASS written in silver and the sticker beneath states the shade name. Oh, by the way, the shade I bought is called Consequences of a Lusty Affair, shade number 11. Now let’s see how it fared.

Sturdy packaging
Offers good quantity for the price
You can always pick it on discounts
Lasts for good 4-5 hours
Leaves a tint behind
Fades evenly (this is a big yayyy for me as I Hate butt hole lips)
It can be layered easily in case you feel you need a touch-up.
Umm difficult to find actually. Just that it’s not transfer-proof, but am not mad at it.
It won’t survive meals (well its easy to reapply though)
Rating: 9/10

Next, I picked up a liquid lipstick in the shade 09 – You Are My Girl Crush. It’s a beautiful
Purple shade with hints of pink in it. It is priced at INR 449 (steep pricing but it’s on
discount most of the time, you will get it for INR 300-399). You get 4.5 ml in the
plastic tube, again very elegant, and this one shows the colour of the lipstick. The
packaging is sturdy and of good quality.
Pigmentation (One swipe is all you need)
Shade range (they have bold purple, reds, pinks, nudes and brown)
The applicator (it has a doe foot applicator that offers precision, you
can easily line your lips with it too)
It’s not supremely drying like other liquid lipsticks. (I suggest you apply a lip balm
beneath no matter which liquid lipstick you apply)
Staying power, it’s supremely impressive it lasted my meals too!!!! GOOD 7-8 hours.

I literally can find none.

Rating: 9/10

The kajal comes in a twist up packaging, with a classy silver cap. It is made in
Germany and contains 0.35 gm of product. The packaging states all the necessary
details about the product (but not the ingredients – those are on the outer packaging)
It has superb pigmentation and is jet black in colour, it doesn’t tug at or irritate the eyes. Also, it is dermatologically tested. The product is priced at Rs. 199. The formula is smudge proof and water resistant and lasts for a good 9 hours on the eyes (if you don’t rub your eyes). Since it comes in a twist up form, you can easily line your eyes with it too. On the waterline, it doesn’t budge that easily. A must buy – I have tried and tested a lot of
kajals and I am a big fan of it and am using it since forever so trust me when I say it, go
for it!
For now, it just has just one shade called Eye Told You So (OMG this brand is killing it
with sassy cute names!!!)

That’s all, I hope you enjoyed reading the review and try out some products from the brand super soon!

Nykaa Skingenius Sculpting & Hydrating Foundation | Review

Guest post by Pooja

A warm welcome to you to my post!
Whether you are a beauty pro or a beginner or even a beauty enthusiast, the perfect base is the goal you desire. And no brownie points for guessing what you need for a perfect base, a foundation!!!!. Today’s post is about a foundation that has been in the market for a while now and I have taken my own sweet time to test this one so that I could present a view on it.

I am talking about the Nykaa Skingenius Sculpting & Hydrating foundation. It’s a
liquid foundation with impressive ingredients and a claim which is rarely heard of. It
claims that once applied it will adapt to your closest skin colour, it’s basically to
make online shopping easier as choosing your foundation colour online can be even more difficult then pleasing Gods. And oh its formulated in Italy.

The other claims made by Nykaa are:
-Weightless texture
-Luxurious long wear formula
-It melts seamlessly into your skin and hydrates your skin with its Polyfit technology
and Hyaluronic acid (the impressive ingredient I was talking about).
-It stays true to its colour and also the sun filters shield your complexion all day long.
-It covers imperfections virtually.
-It gives a radiant lit-from-within glow.

Nykaa Skingenius Sculpting & Hydrating Foundation | Review

Since it’s a base makeup product, I have laid down few criteria to explain how it
fared and on what parameters I tested it. Let’s begin:

Availability: It’s easily available on Nykaa’s website and in Nykaa stores (which are
located in a majority of the Metro cities). In short, it’s presence is good.
Rating: 10/10

Packaging: It is housed in a small cardboard packaging with a vibrant pink
colour, just like other Nykaa products. Each and every detail about the foundation is stated on the packaging (the full list of ingredients is mentioned). The bottle of foundation is that of plastic and is tiny miny and slim containing a net quantity of 30ml. It has a nozzle to pour out the foundation (I mean no fancy dropper or a convenient pump) but it is not super inconvenient to use. I would say its travel friendly and also easy to carry around in your handbag. One drawback I find is that the bottle of foundation doesn’t state what shade it is, only the outer packaging mentions it (so you will have to memorize either the shade number or the shade name.)
Rating: 7/10.

Pricing: The 30 ml bottle costs Rs 575 but you can pick it up during discounts. (Who doesn’t like saving some bucks).
Rating: 6/10

Nykaa Skingenius Sculpting & Hydrating Foundation | Review

Shade range: It has 5 shades to offer. Which I think is not enough to cater to all Indian
skin tones. I wish they introduce some more shades to their range. I picked up shade
02 Almond Beige, which would suit fair to medium skin tones, and it has a mild yellow
Rating: 6/10

Texture: Cream like, not very liquidy or solid, just perfect. It blends seamlessly into
the skin (one of the claims proves to be true). It has a bit of a chemical fragrance
which fades away gradually but could be an issue if you are sensitive to such strong

Nykaa Skingenius Sculpting & Hydrating Foundation | Review

Coverage: The foundation offers a light to medium coverage. Now, this would be a personal preference, if you like your foundation to be matte and full coverage – you might end up disliking it or not liking it much. But if you are someone like me who likes a
dewy finish and a medium coverage that doesn’t give a made-up look, this foundation
is made for you. You can use it on a daily basis, just remember to use a matte primer
and a compact or a translucent powder with it. It definitely gives the face a radiant glow. Since it’s a medium coverage foundation it won’t hide all your spots and blemishes, you will have to cover that up with the help of a concealer. It does provide an even skin tone though. The formula does not feel heavy on the skin but it does feel sticky at
times. So if you are an oily skinned girl I suggest you stay away from this one, even a
combination skin type person will find it a little sticky but again if topped up with a
compact it will be fine. My other observation is that during the Monsoon it makes
your face a little more sticky than usual. However, for dry skin girls this is a God sent
product and it won’t settle in your dry patches (if you moisturise well). Plus it will
give you a beautiful and a subtle glow.
Rating: 7.5/10

Lasting Power: It lasts upto 5-6 hours if set properly.
Rating: 8/10

Lastly, I would say it’s a perfect foundation for daily use and is more of a BB cream with
a slightly high coverage. Do I recommend it? Just keep your skin type in mind – if you have dry skin then this is a must-have for you.
I hope you liked the review!

How To Get Rid of Dark Circles: Long and Short Term Solutions

Guest post by Trysh Sutton.

Dark circles under the eyes can really stand out when we’re sleep deprived or have particularly thin skin around the periorbital area. They’re also more likely to show up with age but there also exists a hand-full of other situations that can cause this unsightly discoloration.

Apart from the obvious concealer, there are several other long and short-term approaches to ridding yourself of dark circles so you save some money on concealing or save your concealer for a rainy day instead of having to constantly use it.

Short Term Solutions

A lack of adequate sleep is a well-known trigger for dark circles in many individuals because blood vessels in the area dilate and become more visible when we’re tired. In some cases, fluid can also collect in the area and form undereye bags, especially when sleeping face down.

Tea Bags

Tea bags are a beauty industry secret famous for reducing dark circles and under eye bags, especially in the mornings.

The combination of tannins and caffeine help to constrict blood vessels in the area, thereby making them less visible.

To use tea bags for your dark circles, steep the tea bags in hot water as you normally would, put them in the fridge/freezer to cool and then place one over each eye.

When the body becomes dehydrated, fluid retention can occur and one of the places that the retention will present itself is under the eyes. Therefore, like many health and beauty problems, drinking adequate water could possibly be the answer for your under eye bags.

Be Gentle

The skin and blood vessels around the eyes are very sensitive. Whether you’re constantly rubbing the area or tend to be particularly rough when removing your makeup, damage can occur quite easily so it is important to be very gentle when touching with that part of your face.

Long Term Solutions

Blood Testing

Lack of certain nutrients, particularly iron and vitamin B12, can manifest as dark circles around the eyes. There are other symptoms you can look out for, however, the only way to be entirely sure is to get a blood test done by your doctor.

Derma Roller

A derma roller is a small, handheld device that has hundreds of tiny needles that create micro-injuries in the skin to jump-start collagen production in the area.

This collagen production increases the thickness of the skin which will reduce or clear your dark circles if thin skin is the culprit.

Retinol Creams

A retinoid is a vitamin A derivative that is hailed for its long list of benefits for the skin, one of which is boosting collagen production.

Like a derma roller, the increase in collagen production can lead to a thickening of the skin around the eye which can reduce the appearance of dark circles, if caused by thin skin.

Prescription retinoids usually give the best and fastest results but otc retinol creams are still pretty effective.

Cosmetic Procedures

There are several cosmetic procedures that you can take as a last resort for your dark circles. One of these is a fractional CO2 laser which is a procedure where the top layer of the skin is heated, boosting collagen production to create make it thicker and better able to hide the blood vessels underneath.

These tips and tricks will keep your under eye area looking bright and young. Do try these out to keep the concealer away!

Wet n Wild Foundation Brush | Review

Guest post by Pooja.

Hello to all the beautiful souls out there!

Whether you are a makeup beginner or a pro, this makeup tool is the basic requirement in your kit. Yes, today I will be talking about a foundation brush from the brand Wet n Wild. It’s a flat top foundation brush and it’s in the affordable range. But let’s see whether it’s worth it or not.

Wet n Wild Foundation Brush | Review

So, let’s start with the packaging it comes in – a simple black plastic packaging. Nothing fancy or impressive, just the basic stuff. As it is a flat top brush, my only concern is that the packaging is kinda not appropriate as it looked disshaped when it arrived. The back mentions all the details about the brush. I would rate a 3/10 for the packaging.

Diving further in the review, I was super excited when I came to know that Wet n Wild is launching in India because each and every beauty blogger, Youtuber and beauty enthusiast couldn’t stop praising this affordable and cruelty-free brand. Also, the most exciting part was the beauty tools which they had to offer for a very low price compared to other branded brushes.

I ordered it through Nykaa, but the online presence of Wet n Wild has increased now and it’s available on HOKmakeup and also on

Coming to the price point, it’s pretty affordable and retails for INR 299 (you might get it -for a discount on other sites or even on Nykaa during sale season.) – Price Rating: 9/10

Wet n Wild Foundation Brush | Review

I am jumping straight to the cons now:

-The bristles are uneven.

-It’s a little rough at first.

-Doesn’t work with all foundations.

-Gives a streaky finish.

-Absorbs the product (in this aspect it’s like a beauty blender)

-Doesn’t really push the foundation into the skin, gives a very made up or an artificial finish.

-Minimises the coverage of the foundation. (Yes, opposite to what the brush is supposed to do)

-I personally do not like the way it’s not stiff while blending the foundation on the skin.

Yup, so many cons. I have tried to make it work in every way possible, but have failed. This is how it is with different types of foundation:

Liquid foundation- Gives a streaky finish. You will have to put in a lot of effort blend with this one.

Cream foundation- It leaves patches on the skin, blends unevenly.

Compacts- It picks up a good amount of product but doesn’t deposit or apply it to the face, you will have to go back into the pan several times.

Talking about the Pros of the tool:

-It becomes really soft after one wash.

-It didn’t shred any bristles on washing.

And, that’s all!!!

Overall Rating: 3/10

Wet n Wild Foundation Brush | Review

Shocker right? It gave me a shock too as I had heard many praises about this one.

Not recommending this one, rather save and buy a PAC brush.

Until the next post, Ciao!!

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask – Brightening | Review

The best thing about Innisfree is that they always have some offers running on where you get a bunch of samples if you purchase any of their products. I recently received a decently-sized sample tube of the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask – Brightening as a freebie, and if you know me you would know that I have already tried it out to review it for you guys! Read on to find out more about this product.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask - Brightening | Review

The product’s description on Nykaa “Innisfree brings to you Volcanic Colour Clay mask packs with 7 colours and 7 functions to combat different skin concerns at one time. The powerful sebum control effect of Jeju volcanic cluster provides clean pore care drawing out impurities from skin and ensuring brighter, radiant and glowing complexion. These can be used for “Multi-Masking” mask to combat different skin concerns at one time. Multi-Masking refers to using multiple mask packs at the same time according to skin concerns by skin area, instead of skin type. The Innisfree Volcanic colour clay mask comes with special ingredients such as Vitamin C complex (yellow) for brightening; Hyaluronic acid (blue) for hydration; Pomegranate seed oil (pink) for revitalizing skin; Madecassoside (green) for sebum control; Panthenol (purple) to soothe; Sea salts (white) to smoothen; and Mud (black) to detoxify.”

My Take On The Product – While I appreciate the concept of multi-masking which this range is based on, I only have one of the variants from the brand, which is the Vitamin C Complex (yellow) mask and hence used that all over my face. It has a shiny, smooth consistency when applied on the face but dries down within a few minutes like a regular mud mask. It does give the stretchy feeling once it dries but nothing too uncomfortable or painful. After washing it off, my skin does feel smoother and brighter, but to be honest, it did not give very striking results when I compare it to some of the other masks that I love.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask - Brightening | Review

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask - Brightening | Review

Final Verdict – While the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask is a decent mask and does what it claims, it did not impress me so much that I would invest in a full-sized version (INR 700 for 70ml). However, these travel-sized tubes are perfect for when you are on the go, so it is good to receive them along with my purchase. If you want to clear out your pores and restore the natural glow of your face then this product will work well but don’t expect any miracles.

Biotique Bio Carrot Ultra Soothing Face Lotion SPF 40+ | Review

Sunscreen is perhaps one of the most important skincare products that I cannot recommend enough! At any point of time, I have at least 2-3 sunscreens from different brands lying around the house and trust me, ever since I started taking my sunscreen game seriously, the texture of my skin has improved drastically! One of the sunscreens I am using at the moment is the Biotique Bio Carrot Ultra Soothing Face Lotion with SPF 40+, and here are my thoughts on the product.

Biotique Bio Carrot Ultra Soothing Face Lotion SPF 40+ | ReviewThe Biotique Bio Carrot Ultra Soothing Face Lotion comes in a convenient tube packaging with a flip lid. It contains SPF 40+ and claims to provide protection against UVA and UVB. It contains the extracts of carrot seed, which is rich in Vitamin A, a well-known skincare ingredient, along with some interesting natural ingredients such as Parijat Patra and Lodhra Bark, which are ingredients inspired by the wisdom of Ayurveda.

Biotique Bio Carrot Ultra Soothing Face Lotion SPF 40+ | Review

The consistency of this product is in the form of a cream that looks quite rich but sinks into the skin beautifully. It makes the skin look well-hydrated without leaving behind a greasy finish, although I do feel that the formula may be a bit too heavy for those with really oily skin. The formula is extremely mild and gentle with a pleasant scent that is quite soothing. Basically, this can be a replacement for a day cream because it provides moisturization while offering protection from the sun.

Biotique Bio Carrot Ultra Soothing Face Lotion SPF 40+ | Review

If you are someone who prefers natural ingredients and gentle formulas then the Biotique Bio Carrot Ultra Soothing Face Lotion will be a good choice for you. The price point of INR 115 for a 50ml tube is excellent and Biotique products never make me break out, making it a win-win situation. Do grab your own today and let me know how it works for you!

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Essence in Lotion | Review

I have recently developed a curiosity for Innisfree products and after trying out a few samples from the brand, I wanted to invest in a full-sized product. Since it was my first significant investment in their range, I chose something that seemed to be better value for money than many of their insanely priced products, and the ingredient list seemed perfect for my skin. The product I picked up was the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Essence in Lotion. After using it for a few weeks, here is what I think about the product.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Essence in Lotion | Review

The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Essence in Lotion is packed with the goodness of anti-oxidants and amino acids along with the essence of Jeju Green Tea. The formula is in the form of a watery lotion that spreads really easily on the skin. It takes a few minutes to sink into the skin and looks a little shiny until then. Once fully absorbed, it leaves the skin looking smooth, hydrated and plump. It is basically like a refreshing drink for the skin that provides a boost of hydration without being greasy. Green tea based products really suit my acne-prone combination skin and this lotion has helped calm down a few breakouts that appeared on my skin but disappeared without flaring up to their full extent.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Essence in Lotion | Review

I basically use this lotion as a serum, sometimes on its own after toning, and sometimes in conjunction with a night/day cream. If you are someone with greasy skin, this product would be the perfect moisturiser for you on its own, and if you have extremely dry skin then you may want to top it up with a cream.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Essence in Lotion | Review

Overall, this lotion is excellent for all skin types, even sensitive skin. It is light-weight yet hydrating and extremely gentle. As a bonus, it helps curb acne too and is paraben free. Also, the price point of INR 1550 for a huge 100ml bottle with a pump is actually very budget-friendly considering you need just a few drops of the lotion every day. If you are someone who has been eyeing Innisfree products since a long time but are worried about the price tags then this lotion will be a great buy for you. Definitely Lipstick-for-Lunch approved!

Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara | Review

So it had been a moment and a half since I last tried a new mascara, and while I tried and tried to go for a brand other than my trusty Maybelline this time, I ended up adding the Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara to my cart. To be completely honest, what drew me towards this mascara was its red and black packaging, and I did not read even a single review before purchasing this product because I know that Maybelline knows its mascaras. Read on to find out whether the gamble paid off!

Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara | Review

Ok, so the wand of this mascara has pretty short and stubby bristles which form a cup shape at the bottom to hold more product and to reach the very roots of the lashes with ease. I don’t know whether there is any push-up drama involved or not but this mascara gives a lot of lengthening drama in just one coat! It literally doubles the length of the lashes! However, if you want extra volume then you need to go in with 2-3 coats, but things may get a bit clumpy if you don’t brush out and separate the lashes with the wand while application. I personally love to go in with 2 coats which leave my lashes extra long and slightly more voluminous, without looking too over the top. The wand works well on the lower lashes too and separates them really well without making them clumpy. Also, I went for the non-waterproof formula because I don’t like tugging at my lashes to remove waterproof mascara, and this formula lasts all day on my lashes without crumbling or fading away.

Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara | Review

Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara | Review

Overall, this product does have drama and some may find it a little bit too much for daily wear (but I don’t). None of the Maybelline mascaras have disappointed me till date and I am happy to report that this one is no exception! At INR 550, it is a little bit pricier than some of the other mascaras from Maybelline, but I feel that this one is excellent for those who want slightly thicker and much longer upper and lower lashes. If you are in the market for a new mascara then you must try this gem out!

Neutriderm Anti-Dandruff Shampoo | Review

Dandruff is such a common scalp issue yet most of the “anti-dandruff’ products in the market are not effective at preventing its recurrence. I personally do not suffer from a major dandruff issue at the moment but I do suffer from frequent itchiness and mild flakiness on my scalp. Recently, the Neutriderm Anti-Dandruff Shampoo has been helping me with these scalp issues. Read on to find out more about this fantastic product.

Neutriderm Anti-Dandruff Shampoo | Review

The Neutriderm Anti-Dandruff Shampoo contains next generation ingredients to fight dandruff, redness and flakiness of the scalp and prevent the recurrence of dandruff. The formula has a very interesting runny, almost water-like consistency. It produces a medium amount of lather on the hair and is not extremely frothy like volumizing shampoos nor low in froth like the hydrating shampoos. Somewhere right in the middle, the froth of this shampoo manages to leave the scalp squeaky clean and the hair soft and fluffy but not frizzy and dried out. The itchiness and tiny flakes on my scalp have disappeared ever since I started using this shampoo one to two times a week. The formula is mild enough to be used twice a week and adds some volume to my otherwise fine hair and makes it look healthier and more manageable.

Neutriderm Anti-Dandruff Shampoo | Review

Overall, I really love this anti-dandruff shampoo and appreciate the cute 120 ml bottle with a push opening that makes it travel-friendly. Since most people would alternate this shampoo with another shampoo, the size of the bottle is extremely practical. Priced at INR 850 for a 120ml bottle, the product seems a little pricey but a little goes a really long way with the shampoo, making it an excellent investment. All Neutriderm products are made in Australia and are effective yet extremely gentle on the skin/scalp and this product is no exception. A must buy in my opinion!

Dermavive Hydra Cleanser – With Natural Colloidal Oatmeal | Review

A face wash is an essential part of every skincare routine, no matter how elaborate or simple. However, those with sensitive skin often find it hard to find a face wash that does not irritate their skin. To resolve this dilemma, I will be reviewing the Dermavive Hydra Cleanser today, which is specifically formulated for sensitive skin.  Here is why this face wash is perfect for sensitive skin-

About the Brand – Dermavive products are specifically formulated for dry, itchy and irritated skin. It contains natural colloidal oatmeal which is a scientifically proven ingredient and provides many beneficial features to manage and treat dry skin conditions. It restores the normal pH balance of the skin and maintains the natural acidity of the skin, thereby protecting against dryness. It also works as a skin protectant and enhances the barrier of the skin. As these products are used in managing and treating people with dry skin problems, there is no fragrance added and the odour is the natural odour of the colloidal oatmeal.

Enriched with the goodness of oatmeal, a skincare ingredient so potent yet mild that it is even a part of several home remedies to treat rashes on an infant’s skin, this face wash is in the form of a transparent gel with a mild, natural fragrance and a gentle lather. The formula is soap-free and pH balanced and thoroughly cleanses the skin without stripping its natural oils. This for me is an ideal AM cleanser because it removes the excess sebum from the face while retaining the morning glow and the softness of the skin. It does not stretch out the skin at all and does not exaggerate any dry patches on the face. In fact, it has a gently hydrating action that makes the skin plump without making it greasy. It also removes non-waterproof makeup very easily and is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin too as it cleans out the pores really well.

Overall, the Dermavive Hydra Cleanser is an excellent face wash for those whose skin is prone to redness and dryness post using a facial cleanser. It is suitable for all skin types, from dry skin to oily, dehydrated skin. I love the unique baby-like softness that it imparts to my face after I use it in the mornings and the natural glow that it provides to my skin. Priced at INR 800 for a 120ml tube, this product may seem a little expensive but the mild formula and sturdy packaging make it a winner for me. So do grab your own pack from Amazon India and let me know how it works for you!

The Crazy Makeup Lady

Hello folks! Since I do not have a product review for you today, I decided to share a crazy makeup look that I created a few days ago. This is definitely not a wearable look, but for me, makeup is also a form of creative expression. Let me know how you like this colorful look in the comments below. Also, do you also ever go crazy with your makeup?

Skincare Lust List – Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Range

So I recently received a sample of the Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Serum and Cream along with a Nykaa order and boy, I have never wished harder that I had a fortune to spend on skincare without burning a hole in my pocket! While I could only get 2 uses out of the sample packs, I could already see a massive difference in the texture of my skin. Read on to find out more about this amazing range!

The Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Serum contains 9 active ingredients and claims to combat the signs of ageing while providing a smooth texture to the skin. To be honest, this was the star of the duo that I received. This light-weight serum literally sinks into the skin and instantly makes the skin feel extremely smooth to the touch. It visibly reduced my pores and was completely non-greasy. My skin felt tighter and more supple, which were perhaps the anti-ageing properties of the product in action. I know that it sounds too good to be true but this serum literally stole the thunder from all the other serums I have used to date.

innisfree-cream.jpgThe Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Cream also contains 9 actives and claims to brighten, tighten, and hydrate the skin. This product has a creamy consistency but applies really smoothly on the skin and moisturises the skin extremely well without being greasy or heavy. It does not look shiny on the face and in fact has a semi-matte finish a few minutes post application. It also has a slight tightening effect on the skin, but I feel that the serum makes a more drastic difference to the skin than the cream.

The only downside of these products is their price. The serum is available at INR 4200 for a 50ml bottle and the cream is priced at INR 3400 for a 60ml jar. Since these products are definitely pricey, I would recommend investing in the serum alone. Also, it would be better to grab these when there is a deal on Nykaa (which I currently have my eyes out for). All my friends reading this should know by now what I need as a present for my next birthday and you should coax your friends to buy you these skincare gems as well!
